It’s that time of year again! Although it’s super warm outside, we’re getting ready for our 3rd annual Vagabond Indie Craft Fair at URBAN BAZAAR!

When: Sat. & Sun., December 8th & 9th, 12-6:30pm.

Where: Urban Bazaar, 1379 47th Ave, San Francisco

What: Over two dozen local artists selling their unique, handmade wares in Urban Bazaar’s backyard garden// a great spot for LOCALLY MADE Holiday Gifts// bake sale fundraiser// free craft table// a bar with yummy warm drinks

Announcing: Vagabond Indie Craft Fair

Yup, you heard us– we’re hosting another amazing Vagabond Indie Craft Fair this holiday season! Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 8th & 9th to be exact. And as usual, our local handcrafted gift fair is being co-hosted by the fantastic SF Etsy Team!

We will show off the works of over 2 dozen talented local artists & craftspeople over the weekend, and the event will also boast a free crafting table, a bake sale to raise funds for the SF Etsy Team (an incredible resource for local indie craftspeople), a bar stocked with steaming beverages (mulled wine & spiked cider, anyone?), and more. So hurry up and mark your calendars! 12-6:30 both days.

We know how much of a bummer it is when you have a craving for a new terrarium or a fun new pair of earrings, and you come out to Urban Bazaar on a Monday and we’re… closed. No fun! So guess what?

We’re now open on mondays!

Yep, that’s right. Urban Bazaar is open 7 days a week. Come by on a Monday to be greeted by our friendly employee Breanne!

Mon 12-7, Tues-Sat 11-7, & Sun 11-5:30

I honestly don’t know why we’ve never posted this video before… Check out our terrariums, featured on ABC7! Yeah, it was for Mother’s Day, but terrariums are good year-round. I swear.

(Our portion of the segment is about 3 minutes in- but if you watch the entire video you’ll also see Tina Produce tea towels featured, which we also carry at Urban Bazaar!)

Displacement, Recycled

We are really looking forward to this beautiful upcoming event! Displacement, Recycled is a 40 minute dance performance that begins at the top of every hour from 11am-3pm in the gorgeous backyard of Urban Bazaar. By watching the piece in repetition with varied lighting angles and energy, you’ll experience a reflective recycling of sorrow, pity, anger, reconciliation, and love.

Urban Bazaar will have a booth at the Bazaar Fete today in Berkeley!

From 11-4 in Civic Center Park, there will be dozens of local artisan vendors, and the event is conveniently located right by the Berkeley Farmer’s Market! So why not come out, get some local produce, and then support some local craftspeople? We will have succulent terrariums & arrangements, vintage license plate cuffs, Summer-y hair accessories, tea towels, and more!

URBAN BAZAAR is turning two! And to celebrate our entrance into toddler-hood, we’re hosting a rockin’ party.
Sunday July 29th, noon-6:30pm at Urban Bazaar, 1371 9th Ave, San Francisco.

What’s better than an all-day free barbecue, free beer & cocktails (shh… 21+ only for this part of the celebration!), live art by Rick Kitagawa, free workshops & demonstrations, and good old fashioned partying in the back yard?

Schedule of fun stuff:
12pm ’til it’s gone: barbecue, drinks, & cupcakes
12:30-2pm: Terrarium demo by Brandi, plus a chance to make your own terrarium
